Captain Robert Lutz piloted a Falcon 7x to Burbank, California visiting our good friend Henry Boger of Adventue Air. The two seasoned multidisciplinary pilots have flown an array of aircraft types (gliders, aerobatic airplanes, seaplanes, helicopters, jets, turboprops) and yet are infatuated with the pure enjoyment of flight the gyroplane provides!

Together they flew a brand new type-certified Cavalon 915iS around the breathtaking views of Los Angeles talking about some favorite features of the Cavalon 915is.

Factory Built

Within a sterile factory environment components are machine with precision and carefully assembled, before a series of ground and flight tests. Upon release from quality control, the new Cavalon is ready for flight right out of the box. No assembly required. Professional, factory personnel assemble each aircraft with precision by hand at AutoGyro Gmbh headquarters in Hildesheim Germany.

Day & Night Operations

While most flights take place during the day, the legal option to fly at night is a real advantage. All Cavalons are now brilliantly equipped for night flight. LED navigational, strobe, and recognition lights are all optimized to meet regulatory view angles and intensities. The incredible array of high intensity LEDs on the Hercules landing light illuminates runways from several hundred feet above the ground.
